I'm Rebecca

I grew up here in York, but as a teenager I dreamed of being amongst the bright lights of the city. Early in my career I took the plunge and moved to New York City where I had the pleasure of being a hairstylist, educator, investor and creative director. I now own one of central PA’s top salons. I've been having fun and studying this craft as a stylist for 20+ years. In the world of social media we have a lot of influencers pretending to be the part I promise have the experience to back it up. Being apart of two startup salons in Manhattan in the early 2000’s and starting Midtown Hair Company in 2011 are just small samplings of the career behind me.

 I love getting my hands into hair and elect to stay behind the chair a few days a week to stay creative & service my very loyal long standing guests. I have a zest for short haircutting and corrective cutting as well as haircolor. I broke into the educator field as a men's expert stylist and am a certified Eufora color educator as well. I have attended universities and institutes for barbering, cosmetology and business! My 20 years of advanced education and knowledge is shared daily with our team and guests & that's what drives my passionate soul.

From working on television and fashion week in NYC to teaching and learning from others across the US, I have always had a curiosity on how to do it better. Everything from running businesses to mastering the perfect color fuels my desire to constantly seek out the best approach which has enabled our guests and team to reach next level results.

On days I’m not behind the chair, I dig deep into the CEO side of things. This includes training our team with the best technical, business and coaching skills to elevate our industry. I'm so proud of the team we have and I think the love really shows itself when your amongst us! We pride ourselves in providing an experience different from the norm, for both guests and stylists.

We use only the best, safest and natural ingredients on the market to protect our lungs, heal our skin, and give the best hair! We add little goodies to our services like a hot towel and scalp massage with essential oil aroma, thorough consultations every single time, and team finishing because who doesn't love feeling like a celebrity for the day!
